Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing advanced perioperative care within a busy surgical environment. The qualified candidate will have current OR experience in general surgery procedures including gastrointestinal, gynecological, urological, ENT, plastic, and thoracic surgeries, with a preference for experience in robotics and EPIC system familiarity.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room Nurse (RN) or Surgical Technologist with current OR experience
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Days shift; 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday; hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a rotational day off
• Required Qualifications: Two years of OR experience, Maryland licensure, current BLS certification, RN with current circulator and scrub experience, general surgery experience, and ability to work with robotic procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record system experience; 1-2 travel assignments in operating room roles
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month; candidates must clear all compliance requirements by the end of the business day Thursday prior to their start date. Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history to verify rehire eligibility.
