• Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Florida

Position Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our institution is seeking both full-time and part-time physicians for the Division of Ob/Gyn Hospital Medicine. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced physicians who are committed to practicing evidence-based medicine, delivering compassionate inpatient care, and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, innovative, and focused on enhancing patient care, quality improvement, medical education, and research.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-focused inpatient obstetric care on Labor & Delivery, covering the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases, with support from a skilled team of Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).
• Manage high-risk and socio-medically complex obstetric patients within a multidisciplinary care framework, closely collaborating with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Neonatology, and other specialty teams to optimize outcomes for mothers and newborns.
• Conduct gynecologic consultations in the Emergency Department and inpatient settings, including medical management and timely surgical intervention for urgent gynecologic issues.
• Perform a wide array of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, such as spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, external cephalic versions, laparoscopy, laparotomy, hysteroscopy, and dilation and curettage (D&C).
• Foster a 24/7 educational environment by supervising and teaching residents and medical students.

• Nearly 60,000 patient visits and over 3,000 deliveries each year.
• Multidisciplinary programs in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology.
• Active participation in clinical innovation, resident education, and research supported by NIH and other foundations.

Expected Salary:

Negotiable; will be based on education, experience, and the number of inpatient shifts per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO, or an equivalent degree is required.
• Must be board certified or on track for certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Must be eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven excellence in patient care, teaching, and scholarly activities.
• Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
