The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our organization is actively seeking a full-time physician to join the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who is enthusiastic about enhancing women's health and is committed to an academic career in this field.

About the Department

Our Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive women's health services, ensuring high-quality patient care while emphasizing education and research. Key highlights include:

• Approximately 60,000 patient visits and 3,000 deliveries each year.
• Multidisciplinary programs in areas such as maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology.
• Active participation in clinical innovation, resident education, and research supported by NIH and various foundations.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will engage in direct clinical care, research, and the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. We value creativity in program development and growth, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively. Candidates should be adept at providing a wide range of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including surgeries for medically complex patients. Areas of special interest in women's health care are welcomed and supported. Academic rank will be assigned based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver care as an obstetrician/gynecologist at our affiliated hospital.
• Consult with patients at various clinics and perform both major and minor gynecologic surgeries.
• Participate in rotating night and weekend on-call duties.
• Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through teaching and committee involvement.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research and quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligibility for a Florida Medical License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal doctoral degree in a clinical science (MD or DO) with additional degrees such as an MBA or MPH being advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
