###### Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to own end-to-end product design quality across our consumer products. Design is not decoration here — every friction point in the experience is money left on the table. Your craft bar and system thinking compound across the product org.

Your mandate is to set the design standard and ship exceptional experiences that move business outcomes: design strategy and principles, end-to-end journeys across products, the shared design system, research that sharpens the roadmap, and a design team that executes at pace.

You will run the design roadmap with independence. You report to the Chief Product Officer, who sets product strategy and priorities. You own the how, the craft bar, and the when for design delivery. No layers. No politics.

If you've led design for high-scale B2C products, this will feel familiar. The difference is you'll be doing it in crypto — where trust, speed, and clarity collide, the rails keep changing, and the playbook is yours to write.

• Own design strategy end-to-end. You set the design principles and standards for each product alongside product and market requirements. You make the craft call. Nothing ships without meeting your bar.
• Ship journeys, not screens. You define customer journeys and solve complex UX problems with urgency — from discovery through prototype to production — in lockstep with product and engineering.
• Drive product strategy through design. You present design direction, decisions, and rationale to senior stakeholders. You don't decorate a roadmap; you shape it.
• Raise the team. You coach designers on journeys, flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You set the quality bar and develop the people who will hit it without you in the room.
• Own the design system. You oversee and contribute to the shared system so quality scales across teams instead of fragmenting into one-off UI.
• Turn data and research into decisions. You dig into user behavior, run interviews, focus groups, and usability tests, and turn insights into roadmap-changing recommendations — not slide decks that die in a folder.

• Proven B2C product design leadership. You have owned design for digital consumer products at meaningful scale and can walk through a launch where you set the craft bar, navigated stakeholder conflict, and shipped.
• Portfolio that proves end-to-end ownership. You can show journeys you owned — not just polished screens — including the problem, the tradeoffs, and what moved after ship. A portfolio is required to be considered.
• User-centered craft with business teeth. You apply UX principles in service of outcomes. You can describe a time you chose the harder UX path because the data (or the user behavior) demanded it — and what the number did.
• Multi-project shipping at scale. You have run several workstreams in parallel and can point to how you sequenced, cut scope, and still shipped quality.
• Team builder, not just IC star. You have developed and coached a mid-to-large design team and can describe how someone grew under you — and what you did when quality slipped.
• Executive presence. You translate creative vision into business language. You have aligned senior stakeholders on a design direction when opinions conflicted, and you can recount the decision and the aftermath.

• An AI player and Pilot
• Fintech / crypto / trading UX: You've designed money-moving or high-stakes financial flows; you already know trust and clarity are the product.
• Design systems at scale: You've evolved a system used by multiple product squads and can show adoption, not just a Figma library.
• Research ops fluency: You've built a lightweight research cadence that product and engine actually use

• Access. You work directly with the CPO and senior product leadership. Your design calls land where strategy is set. No layers.
• Leverage. Design system + team leadership means your taste multiplies across products — not one feature at a time.
• Frontier. Consumer crypto UX is still being written. Trust, speed, and clarity at global scale is hard. That's the job.
• Upside. Early ownership of experiences that sit on the critical path of how customers discover, use, and stay with the product.
• Team. High-calibre product and engineering partners who care whether the thing actually works for the user — not just whether it shipped.
