Tech Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Tech will operate in a fast-paced acute care environment, providing specialized support for cardiovascular procedures. They will work closely with medical teams to ensure safe and efficient completion of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cath lab, adhering to established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and operate equipment such as monitors, scrubs, and imaging systems for procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist cardiologists during complex coronary diagnostics and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Complete documentation accurately in electronic medical records system.
  
  
• 
  Respond to on-call emergencies, including procedural support and coverage.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 2+ years of cath lab experience in a clinical setting.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS certification.
  
  
• 
  Maintain active South Carolina state license (SCRQSA).
  
  
• 
  Provide radiation safety badge and documentation as required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible with schedule and able to participate in on-call rotation.
