Hampton Inn & Suites East Flagstaff is hiring a full-time General Hotel Manager to elevate our daily operations and guide the trajectory of our revenue growth and increased profitability. We're looking for an analytical person who can identify areas for improvement and uncover untapped business opportunities. GENERAL HOTEL MANAGER COMPENSATION

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000/year, based on qualifications

Full-Time Benefits: Health insurance, dental, vision, vacation, sick time, and employee travel discounts

GENERAL HOTEL MANAGER PRIORITIES

• Taking ownership of our performance and profitability, and finding ways to improve key metrics while acting in the best interest of the hotel and business
• Supporting financial growth by preparing budgets and forecasts, analyzing profit and loss procedures, and monitoring expenses
• Maintaining brand standards and ensuring the effectiveness of guest balance collection, direct bill receivables, and inventory purchasing
• Collaborating with sales teams and the office manager to set revenue goals, make sales calls, generate financial reports, and execute new sales and marketing campaigns
• Seeking out potential local business partnerships and maintaining community relationships to improve visibility
• Motivating, coaching, and serving as a positive example for team members in every department
• Professionally resolving issues and upholding a safe, collaborative, and inclusive environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent educational qualification in hotel management or business administration
• 3+ years of management experience
• Leadership skills for motivating and training employees
• Superior customer service skills and the ability to professionally, respectfully interact with people from all cultures
• Fantastic presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft programs, and hotel property management systems
• Ability to take initiative and uphold team accountability
• Ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate office equipment, move up to 50 lbs., work in guest rooms, and quickly adapt to changing priorities/time constraints
