Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to accurately identify unique care needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions that address emotional challenges, such as grief, anxiety, and adjustment disorders.

• Educate staff and families about mental health issues, helping them recognize signs of emotional distress and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life of elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families navigating end-of-life issues, equipping them with the tools to cope effectively.

• Maintain up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to track patient progress and treatment efficacy, ensuring all documentation is thorough and compliant with best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Candidates must be license eligible in the state of New York.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required to facilitate any necessary client outreach or community engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard. In addition, we provide monthly productivity bonuses, ensuring that your hard work is recognized and rewarded.
