Work Environment\n

As a remote member of our team, you will work under a flexible schedule, with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand the needs of each client and develop customized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, which may include psychologists, social workers, and community health workers, to coordinate care and maximize positive outcomes for clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, attending training sessions and workshops to remain updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices.

• Utilize feedback and insights from clients and colleagues to enhance clinical services and improve patient care protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and geographical backgrounds. This diversity requires adaptability in your therapeutic approach to ensure that each client receives personalized and effective care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active license and certification in the state of California, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of experience in delivering mental health counseling to individuals facing various emotional challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for quickly building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous though not mandatory.

• Experience in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or older adults, is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
