Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist to support the development, management, and maintenance of high-quality technical and business documentation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working across multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can translate complex information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate documentation while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, proofread, and maintain technical, operational, and business documentation.
  
• Create user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), reports, manuals, presentations, and other written materials.
  
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, project teams, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.
  
• Review and revise existing documentation to improve clarity, usability, and consistency.
  
• Manage document version control and maintain documentation repositories.
  
• Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for various audiences.
  
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational standards, style guides, and quality requirements.
  
• Coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
  
• Support documentation efforts related to contracts, procurement activities, and organizational initiatives as needed.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of professional experience in technical writing, communications, documentation management, or a related discipline.
• 11+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 11+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation management with demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with contract law, procurement processes, government contracting, or public-sector acquisitions.
• Experience supporting proposal development, contract administration, or procurement documentation.
• Knowledge of document management systems and collaboration platforms.
