Position Overview

This is a reduced non-billable orientation (NBO) job with a schedule consisting of both weekday and weekend shifts for an MRI Technologist. The position requires travel experience and a strong background in MRI technology.

Shift Details

• Weekdays: 5 x 9.5 Hour Shift (11:30 AM - 9:00 PM)
• Weekends: 2 x 12 Hour Shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• On-call required: Yes, one night a week (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• No weekend coverage required

Job Requirements

• Previous charge experience is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
• Valid state license is required (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Siemens experience is a hard stop requirement; the manager cannot provide training
• Experience working in both short-term acute care and level II trauma facility settings is preferred

Technical Skills

• Expertise in using Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDE 1.5T MRI machines
• Proficiency in performing various MRI procedures, including but not limited to:



• Abdominal MRI, Brain MRI, Chest MRI
• Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) and venography (MRV)
• Cardiac MRI with and without contrast
• Pediatric and adult acute care procedures

Unit Details

The facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 209 staff beds. The daily census averages around 160 patients. Providers are expected to maintain a patient-to-staff ratio of 1:1.
