This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a pediatric hospital setting. The role focuses primarily on inpatient pediatric pharmacy practice, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality medication management during the night shift. The assignment is based in Weatherford, TX, and offers an engaging rotation of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, working from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify medications for pediatric inpatients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication order entry and inventory management
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medications as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide clinical support during night shifts with potential transition to day shifts later in the assignment

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Proven experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy, preferably pediatrics
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication automation
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment

Assignment Details:

• Location: Weatherford, TX
• Schedule: Night shift, 7 days on / 7 days off (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Duration: 6 months, with possible transition to day shift covering FMLA through January 13, 2027

• Travel assignment with support for relocation as needed
