This role ensures all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting production goals. The supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities.**Responsibilities:*** Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.* Monitor and maintain critical equipment such as conveyors, refrigeration systems, packaging machines, and hydraulic systems.* Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards.* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and work orders.* Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve equipment-related issues.* Manage inventory of spare parts and tools; coordinate with vendors for supplies and services.* rain and mentor maintenance personnel on equipment handling, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.* Respond to emergency breakdowns and coordinate rapid repairs to minimize production delays.* Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.* Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.## Qualifications**Skills and Qualifications:*** High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical/electrical engineering preferred.* 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment.* 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.* Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.* Sufficient written communication and reading skills* Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment* Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines* Ability to follow directions* Ability to assess products for quality compliance**Work Environment & Physical Demands***The work environment characteristics & physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job.
