Our team specializes in promoting State Farm's diverse portfolio of insurance and financial service products and is an independent State Farm Agency. No insurance experience? No problem! On-the-job training will be provided for all insurance related duties. Applicants must be willing/able to procure a Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer license prior to starting and within 6 weeks of job offer.Job OverviewThis full-time position will interact directly with customers and will work as a part of our customer service team. The majority of the role's responsibilities revolve around computer-based tasks and frequent communication with customers, so having excellent computer and customer service skills are a must. This position will report directly to the Office Manager.ResponsibilitiesEngage with customers in a friendly, professional manner over the phone, in-person and through text, and email.Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.Assist customers in resolving issues and answer questions they may have about State Farm products and services.Actively review customer's accounts to identify issues and opportunities.Contact customers to set up general and product specific meetings.Maintain, update and service customer accounts and policies.Manage weekly/monthly sales and performance goals.Process payments, assist customers with billing issues and follow-up on outstanding payments.RequirementsAt least 1 year of customer service experience preferredAbility to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance producer licenses within the specified time frameProficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and Teams; Experience with CRM or eCRM programs is a plusExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitaskMust be a team player and enjoy working closely with a small teamBenefitsSalary $35,000 - $45,000 DoE plus CommissionMonday-Friday schedule, with an emphasis on Work-Life BalancePaid time off; both vacation and sick leaveHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance401k MatchingReimbursement of all Licensing costs/fees after 90-day probationary periodFree snacks and drinks provided in officeState Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees.
