Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations (ages 18+) with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
• Utilize telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps as part of routine patient care
• Document accurately and efficiently using the Cerner EHR system
• Apply critical thinking skills and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Float occasionally to like units as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code including galaxy blue (or navy) scrubs and compliance with hand hygiene and appearance policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Michigan (or compact eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate, timely action with minimal supervision
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a Medical/Surgical unit strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
