Were hiring a full-time W-2 ELA Teacher to provide K12 school-based services for the school year . Whether youre an experienced ELATeacher or new to the field youll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this workand is here to help you thrive.
Position Details
- Caseload: ELA Teacher
- Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Hours: 37.5 40 hours/week
- Dates: ASAP May 2027
- Location: Onsite in South Carolina (hybrid may be possible for the right candidate)
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging high school English Language Arts (ELA) instruction aligned with state curriculum standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans that strengthen reading writing and critical thinking skills
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers administrators and families to support student success
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Education or related field
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential (English certification preferred)
- High school teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Passion for history education and student success
