This role provides essential care to patients recovering from surgery and those requiring observation to ensure optimal recovery and health outcomes. Key Responsibilities\n \n Deliver quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Overflow Unit. \n Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n Assist in the transition to team nursing, including working alongside Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). \n Provide education to patients and families about recovery processes and wellness strategies. \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a Med/Surg or similar unit. \n At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required. \n Current RN licensure in compliance with NLC guidelines. \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n Able to work effectively within a team-focused environment. \n Working Conditions\n \n Shift: Night (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00). \n Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:6/7. \n Weekend shifts may be required as needed. \n No block scheduling available, although weekend blocks may be considered. \n Application Instructions\n All candidates are required to include any scheduled time off (RTO) at the time of submission.
