Fire Protection Project Manager

We are partnered with a locally owned and operated Fire Protection contractor that is actively looking to grow their already established team.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage fire protection projects from design through installation, testing, and closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee the design and installation of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazard suppression, and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including NFPA, IBC, IFC, and local regulations.
• Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and technical challenges.
• Manage procurement activities and coordinate material deliveries to support project schedules.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control standards and safety requirements are maintained throughout project execution.
• Support field personnel and subcontractors by providing technical guidance and project direction.
• Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and profitability.
• Prepare and submit project documentation, closeout packages, and as-built records.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support customer satisfaction and future business opportunities.

Project Manager Qualifications:

• 5+ years combined experience in the Fire Protection Field and Project Management
• Must have commercial project experience
• Strong knowledge of the fabrication process.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• NICET Level II or better preferred
