Material Handler

Job Summary Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler on First Shift. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line. Duties & Responsibilities Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders) Perform daily cycle counts Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position) Data base user interface and query software Electronic mail software Enterprise resource planning ERP software Inventory management software Spreadsheet software Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software Manufacturing environment Time Pressure Operating a forklift, pallet jack and/or manlift operator Standing for long periods of time Lifting heavy (typically 30 lbs) items Eligibility Requirements This role may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-controls laws or other applicable U.S.-government legal or contractual requirements. Compensation & Benefits Salary range is $18.46 - $24.97 per hour, dependant on experience. Mid-point is $21.72. Quarterly Profit Sharing Bonus eligible. Factors such as experience in comparable roles, skill set, training, education, certifications, other qualifications, market conditions, and business needs influence the actual salary offered. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range.
