Controller PositionGround Up Construction Recruiting is partnered with a family-owned commercial general contractor in Lincoln to help them hire a Controller to lead the accounting/finance department. This is an opportunity to not only manage the day-to-day accounting operations, but to help strategically lead the company as they continue to grow. They're a close-knit team of 25 people doing roughly $30M in revenue. They're expertise is design-bid-build with 85% being public work and 15% private. Most of their projects consist of schools, fitness/athletic complexes, offices, churches, parks, and fire stations. They've been in business for 10+ years and the owner loves delivering high-quality projects that positively impact the community. Controlled, sustainable growth is important, so hiring the right person that wants to help build the company and is looking for a long-term home is key. This is more than a month-end and financial-reporting position - you'll be at the center of the day-to-day operation, partnering with project managers, leadership, vendors, and field teams to make sure projects and the business are financially strong.
