Role Description The Account Manager role at Fusion Transport is a full-time, on-site position based in Summerville, SC. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with assigned customers, serving as the primary point of contact for service updates, issue resolution, and ongoing support. The Account Manager monitors shipment activity, coordinates with operations and carrier partners, and ensures that service commitments, performance metrics, and customer expectations are consistently met. This position also involves analyzing account performance, identifying opportunities for improvement or growth, preparing reports, and participating in business reviews. The Account Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to implement customer-specific solutions and maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, pricing, and service requirements.\n

• Demonstrated ability to manage customer accounts, build strong professional relationships, and provide proactive service and support.

• Familiarity with logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations, ideally within a retail or distribution environment.

• Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, effective listening, and professional presentation abilities.

• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.

• Comfort with data analysis and reporting, including use of spreadsheets, transportation management systems, or related business tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, resolve problems, and adapt to changing customer needs and operational demands.

• High level of attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and commitment to maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, or sales support is preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
