Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a focus on cardiothoracic surgery. This role requires proficiency in the operating room specifically as a first assist and in vein harvesting. The selected candidate will provide coverage for night call duties, which may include handling phone calls and managing any emergent surgical cases. This position is located at a reputable hospital facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, known for its commitment to quality patient care.

• Assist in the operating room for cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Perform vein harvesting as needed.
• Participate in night call coverage, handling urgent surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgical staff and support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient interactions using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Board certification in a relevant specialty (required).
• Current Nebraska license or IMLC with license in hand (required).
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
• Experience with the EPIC EMR system (highly preferred).
• Availability at the time of name clearance (required).
