Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Room team for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, ensuring prompt and efficient treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage incoming emergency patients to determine priority level.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to deteriorations with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, and airway management procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with active state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER or emergency department experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
• Familiarity with MEDITECH EMR system.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and multitask effectively.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills.
