We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers and patients in an outpatient medical clinic. The CMA will assist with clinical and administrative duties and help maintain efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for appointments.
• Assist providers with patient care and treatment.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform clinic laboratory tests.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
• Provide telephone and front-desk support when required.
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.
• Order and maintain clinic supplies.
• Communicate patient concerns and updates to providers and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Support smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program such as ABHES or CAAHEP, OR qualifying RMA program with required experience and certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
