Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Acute Care unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Administer and monitor IV drips including heparin and other medications using Baxter IV pumps
• Care for medical patients and post-operative radial cardiac catheterization patients
• Operate and monitor SCD machines and other unit equipment as required
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians across day shift operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current Medical/Surgical acute care hospital experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado or compact licensure eligibility
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• High-energy, team-oriented personality with a strong focus on patient care
