Fleet Administrator

Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fleet Administrator to join the operations team of a premier Florida-based telecommunications provider. This is a vital temporary role designed to provide high-level administrative support to a fast-paced Fleet Department, ensuring their vehicle network stays on the move. Position Summary The Fleet Administrator will provide short-term administrative and operational support to the Fleet Department. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of vehicle records, coordinating with maintenance vendors, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly so that our field teams can continue delivering world-class service to our customers. Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL  Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week) Job Type: Temporary / Contract Industry: Telecommunications Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in administrative support, logistics, or fleet operations is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel skills for data tracking are a must).
• Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Communication: verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Organization: Proven ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Documentation Management: Maintain and update comprehensive fleet records, vehicle registrations, and digital/physical files.
• Maintenance Coordination: Track preventive maintenance schedules and proactively coordinate service appointments with vendors.
• Asset Logistics: Assist with vehicle assignments, returns, and thorough inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Financial Support: Process invoices, generate purchase orders, and organize maintenance documentation for budget tracking.
• Vendor Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for repair shops and vendors to ensure timely service and communication.
• Reporting: Assist in generating reports regarding vehicle status, mileage, fuel usage, and repair history.
• Driver Support: Resolve daily driver inquiries and provide general administrative support to the fleet management team.
