Senior Accountant

TriHire is teaming with a manufacturing client in the Greater Chicago area looking for an all-star Senior Accountant to join their team! Interested candidates should submit a resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Responsibilities include: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform month-end and year end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts Calculation of reserve requirements for bad debt, warranty, vacation and inventory obsolescence Capitalization of inventory cost variances calculation Calculating project revenue in accordance with POC revenue recognition pronouncement Performing month-end close for equipment projects, plant operations and inventory Monthly reporting upload to our corporate parent Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries Improve accounting processes and internal controls Analyzing and reporting project and operating cost variances Maintaining and reporting sales order intake and backlog reports Maintaining the integrity of our inventory costs Performing specific cost analysis and searching out cost savings opportunities Assist in AP and AR if the circumstance requires Managing all facets of the sales tax function Active participation in the ERP system implementation #J-18808-Ljbffr TriHire Solutions
