Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver therapy interventions safely and effectively, following each patient's personalized PT plan of care
Document patient progress and responses to treatment with precision and care
Empower patients through education and customized home exercise programs
Communicate openly with supervising PTs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
Champion safety, infection control, and compliance in all aspects of patient care
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license in Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate as part of a dynamic care team
Education
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
Physical therapy techniques and interventions
Patient education and home exercise program design
Clinical documentation and progress notes
Treatment plan implementation and modification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Infection control and safety protocols
Interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
Compliance with state and federal regulations
