Position : Stand-Up Forklift / Cherry Picker Operator

Location : Lithia Springs, GA

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay : $18/hr

Job Type : Temp-to-Hire

 

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Stand-Up Forklift / Cherry Picker Operator to support warehouse and shipping operations in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is responsible for safely moving materials, loading outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient product flow throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers safely and efficiently

• Move materials throughout the warehouse and staging areas

• Use RF scanners and inventory tracking equipment to maintain inventory accuracy

• Weigh products and accurately record measurements

• Shrink wrap and secure products for shipment

• Load products onto tractor trailers for outbound distribution

• Verify loads are properly centered, secured, and stacked

• Review production schedules to ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods

• Perform quality assurance checks and report product damage, shortages, or discrepancies

• Ensure safe and efficient handling of inventory and materials

• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and warehouse guidelines

• Conduct basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs

Must Haves

• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly

• Previous warehouse experience

• Experience operating a stand-up forklift & cherry picker

• Ability to use RF scanners and inventory tracking systems

• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely

Nice to Haves

• Shipping and receiving experience

• Trailer loading experience

• Inventory control experience

• Quality assurance or quality control experience

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
