Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Colon & Rectal Surgery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: Epic experience required Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score - 2 years of experience without testing required Description: This position involves caring for patients in a post-surgical setting. You will care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. Collaboration with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses will be essential for ostomy and wound care needs. You will manage post-operative patients receiving TPN, NG tubes, and central lines. No block schedule or 48-hour requests are permissible. Navy blue scrubs are required. Competency testing will be required within 24 hours of submission. Ensure an up-to-date email address is provided for competency testing communication.
