Occupational Therapist - Full Time

Your skills will support pediatric through early-adult patients in an outpatient clinic as part of an interdisciplinary therapy team. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Kentucky State License is required to start the position. BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC. Experience providing pediatric occupational therapy services. Experience treating early-adult patients is a plus. Experience working in an outpatient or community clinic setting preferred. Comfort providing primarily 1:1 care. Ability to support occasional group therapy is beneficial. Experience with or willingness to learn Fusion EMR. Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary teams and manage varied child behaviors ethically and professionally. Schedule and Setting Outpatient clinic setting with pediatric focus; services support behavioral health and ABA-based programming. Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexible scheduling available due to urgent need, including options for 3x12, 4- or 5-day schedules. Flexibility may change after staffing stabilizes. Clinics supporting this role include locations in Leitchfield, Owensboro, Vine Grove, and Mount Washington, KY. Caseload and Team Primarily 1:1 therapy sessions. Some group therapy occurs at the clinic. Interdisciplinary collaboration with speech-language pathologists, behavioral health staff, and ABA teams. Client population includes children through early adults. Approximately 50% Medicaid payer mix. Desired Candidate Attributes Team-oriented clinicians who collaborate across disciplines. Comfortable working with varied child behaviors and behavioral health supports. Outgoing and engaging communication style when appropriate for pediatric care.
