The Role As FOH Shift Manager, you ensure customers have the best experience: fast, delicious food; welcoming atmosphere; clean, stocked restaurant. Responsibilities Communicate the vision for Roots culture to your crew daily. Collaborate with the Leadership Team and crew to create an awesome place to be. Help the entire Leadership Team improve crew leadership skills. Provide excellent hands‑on training, supporting crew throughout the entire process. Coach the crew on running excellent shifts, focused on customer experience and quality food. Maintain relentless focus on customer experiences and attention to detail. Ensure crew follows food safety practices and standards. Master all front‑of‑house positions (line, grill, catering/app). Maintain a positive and cheerful attitude during all scheduled shifts. Skills, Experience, and Requirements Prior restaurant management experience preferred. Empathy for fellow crew members and customers. Friendliness and enthusiasm each day. Lead by example, showing humility and resilience. Phenomenal personal, communication, and organizational skills. Willingness to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
