Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Ambassador in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, greeting visitors, and communicating professionally with staff and guests. You will use technology to document activity, respond to security-related concerns, and support a caring culture through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the healthcare location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and following authorization protocols.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and surveillance systems; report irregular activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
