Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join this highly collegial department! Mount Sinai South Nassau (MSSN) is an award-winning, acute care, not-for-profit teaching hospital located in Oceanside, New York. The Division of vascular surgery is seeking full time vascular surgeon who is BE /BC to perform the full breadth of vascular surgical procedures and endo- vascular interventions . The individual is expected to teach residents and students. He or she should have outstanding clinical and teaching skills with a commitment to excellence and diversity. The Vascular Surgeon will join two full time MSSN has a fully accredited-vascular lab ICAVL, a state of the art interventional suite, and a Vascular Access program. There is great collegiality between the practitioners and support among the specialists and administration. MSSN is a level II verified trauma center with approximately 65,000 ED visits annually. Designated a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care, MSSN also offers Novalis TxTM and Gamma Knife radiosurgery technologies, and operates the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County verified by the American College of Surgeons.
