Director, Imaging Northern California (Berkeley, San Jose, Palo Alto, Sacramento and Stockton, CA). Our client is a multi‑facility medical center, part of one of the largest, most successful and decorated health systems in the United States. It offers both community based and tertiary medical services. The facility has over 400 licensed beds and is a not‑for‑profit fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It has received special recognition for quality by the Joint Commission and won a Consumer Choice award for hospitals from the National Research Council. Job description Provides overall administrative and clinical leadership of inpatient and/or outpatient diagnostic imaging services that may include radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine and/or magnetic resonance imaging services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health care or business administration; or equivalent education/experience ARRT – Radiography – American Register of Radiologic Technologists in one or more modalities, upon hire Multiple modalities (CT, X‑ray, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and echo) Experience extensive in clinical/healthcare management and/or relevant operations, preferably in a large healthcare system. Experience in a progressively responsible professional imaging technologist/specialist demonstrating a thorough knowledge of imaging procedures and/or techniques. Experience in budgeting and fiscal management.
