Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Manage patients' labor and childbirth process
• Assist with vaginal and c-section deliveries
• Perform d&c, hyst, PP tubal, cerclage placement, and versions
• Support high risk OB cases

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification
