Responsibilities

• Provide planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients across ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, and ER.
• Maintain unit-specific competencies and deliver care to a variety of adult patient populations.
• Supervise and delegate care tasks to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice; collaborate with CNA teammates.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, perform focused assessments, document findings, and escalate changes as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care planning, patient safety, and smooth patient transitions (admissions, transfers, discharges).

Requirements

• Current California RN license
• Ability to work across multiple units described (ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, ER) as assigned
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts (3 days per week)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Education: Nursing degree requiring active licensure as an RN in California
