Local Team Collaboration We take pride in our well-established team at John Peter Smith of 37 physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs), with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a practice manager. Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Qualifications Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. We are open to 2026 graduates. Scheduling Full‑time positions follow a 7‑days‑on, 7‑days‑off rotation. We understand the importance of spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. That’s why we offer a flexible schedule that allows for work‑life balance. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry. Key Responsibilities Focus on managing complex cases in a closed ICU environment with 24/7 intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes. Participate in regular team meetings, held two to three times per week, discuss critical items, and engage in monthly regional meetings to review performance and address outstanding practice matters. Rewards And Compensation 182.5 shifts a year, $1,370 for day shift, $1,499 for swing shift, and $1,720 for night shifts. Eligible for both PPI and PQI bonuses.
