QA Engineer

IDR Healthcare

IDR is seeking a QA Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves testing and quality assurance within a technology-focused environment, supporting complex software applications and ensuring operational efficiency.

Position Overview for the QA Engineer:

Coordinates and/or performs work on programming projects including those that are highly complex in nature and/or large in scale.
Coordinates and/or writes test plans and test data.
Writes complex software code and debugs software.
Analyzes proposed applications for software regression suites.
Analyzes, reviews, and revises software to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures.

Requirements for the QA Engineer:

Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments.
Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing.
Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies.
