Medical Laboratory Technician

$1904.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform challenging and accurate laboratory tests in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role requires flexibility, technical expertise, and adherence to quality standards to support patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and tissues following proper procedures. Ensure accuracy and precision in test results through proper calibration, maintenance, and quality control measures. Interpret, review, and report laboratory findings in a timely manner. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment including Beckman Coulter DxI, DxC, DxH 600T, and Sunquest systems. Coordinate with team members and float between Blood Bank, Generalist, and Caller units within scope. Comply with all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards. Qualifications: Hold an active ASCP certification in Medical Laboratory Science or relevant credential. Possess a minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience. Demonstrate proficiency with Beckman Coulter DxI, DxC, DxH 600T, and Sunquest systems. Be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Medical Lab Tech (MLT) or Clinical Lab Scientist in NJ or Compact state. Available to work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every other weekend. Must be able to float within scope as needed and adhere to all scheduling policies.
