Quick Facts Location: 3200 MacCorkle Avenue Southeast, Charleston, WV 25304 Start Date: 10/01/2026 End Date: 04/01/2027 Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified, WV State License (or eligible), DEA, BLS, ACLS Experience: Prior gastroenterology experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $460.20/hour Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Competitive Per Diem and Travel Reimbursements (if applicable) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with state, federal, and local laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Provide outpatient advanced gastroenterology services, including ERCP and EUS procedures Support a team of APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs across multiple GI locations Manage approximately 9 patients daily, with an age range from 18 years and older Conduct pre-evaluations and provide follow-up care for patients with complex GI needs Assist with urgent inpatient cases and add procedures to daily schedules as needed Maintain compliance with EMR documentation standards (Cerner) Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care What You Need Current State Medical License (or Eligible via IMLC process) Board Certification in Gastroenterology DEA license BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 1 year of gastroenterology experience preferred About the Assignment This contract position is with a leading facility in Charleston, WV, providing outpatient gastroenterology services with a focus on advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS.
