Position Overview Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Christiansburg, VA. Location: 2900 Lamb Cir, Christiansburg. Full-time shift flexibility. This role supports patient care during diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical, and obstetrical procedures. Key Responsibilities Develop anesthetic care plans for patients of all ages in coordination with an anesthesiologist or the patient's physician. Implement and adjust anesthetic plans in response to patient conditions. Document anesthetic response accurately and completely. Ensure patient safety during anesthetic care and during transfer to other qualified health care providers. Collaborate with and direct other health care personnel related to administration of anesthesia care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner‑Nurse Anesthetist in Virginia. Current certification or recertification as an active, practicing nurse anesthetist (NBCRNA). Maintain current American Heart Association approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation & Benefits $50,000 sign‑on bonus. No call responsibilities. Flexible self‑scheduling (8-, 10-, or 12‑hour shifts). Full-time and part-time options. Additional incentives for night shift positions.
