We're seeking a Branch Manager who will play a key role in driving branch success by leading a high-performing team, delivering exceptional member experiences, and fostering growth within the Fairbanks community. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader who is passionate about developing others, building long lasting relationships, and achieving results. The Branch Manager will oversee branch operations, coach and develop employees, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and take ownership of the member experience. They will also manage all phases of loan origination through processing, while serving as a trusted guide for our members and employees. This position is located at our MAC Division Fairbanks Branch on 10th Ave. Pay Range: $86,677 - $126,063

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent, with some college-level course work in related areas desirable
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience and/or two years of experience working in a financial institution is required
• Experience in evaluating consumer loan requests is preferred
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements associated with negotiating financial instruments
• Ability to handle member and employee matters in a professional, tactful and confidential manner
• Ability to effectively supervise, motivate and lead branch team to consistently attain sales and service goals and to comply with various organizational and regulatory requirements
• Sound judgment, excellent communication skills with members, credit union employees, executive management and the public
• Ability to negotiate, solve problems and make effective decisions
• Positive sales mindset and ability to proactively evaluate and present credit union products and services that best meet a person's financial needs
• Responsible for abiding and complying with the policy for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering laws and regulations (BSA/AML) and the policy for compliance with office of foreign assets control laws and regulations (OFAC)
