AKHIRE is recruiting for the following position:
Position Title: Branch Manager
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Pay: 75,000 - 95,000 Per year + Bonuses
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Term: Permanent
Job Duties - Branch Manager
- Manages and oversees the branch inventory, daily inventory cycle counts and maintains showroom and warehouse appearance.
- Responsible for managing P&L goals and objectives for the branch location.
- Assists outside salespersons in quoting and customer follow ups
- Maintains and upgrades selling skills and technical/product knowledge for the branch.
- Provides backup support to sales representatives with order entry and customer inquiries.
- Oversees reoccurring orders process for the branch on a daily basis.
- Posts daily cash and charge orders for all tickets.
- Manages daily reconciliation of cash and bank deposits.
- Manages associate training
- Provides leadership and management direction to associates with day-to-day operations of the retail store including compliance, retail sales, warehousing and distribution.
- Manages work hours and approves overtime in the timekeeping system.
- Responsible for maintaining hours within the established budget.
- Responsible for managing truck distribution, maintenance, and DOT Compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Higher education degree preferred)
- Two to five years of experience in an industrial retail, inside sales, customer service and/or inventory control related position.
- Knowledge of welding industry preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
