This role also overseen infection control for the community Responsibilities Develop education programs in response to staff needs and teaches staff current accepted patient care and center practices. Ensure that the facility follows current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control or standard/universal precautions. Competencies for all New Staff covering RN shifts as needed scheduling Coordinate infection control program Qualifications Must hold current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required. Background/training in infection control is preferred. Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience preferred Current CPR certificate desired. On call Covering RN shifts as needed.
