Assess, monitor, document, and respond to changes in patient status; manage pain, nausea, airway, and vitals in the immediate recovery period. Collaborate with perioperative and clinical team members to coordinate handoffs, care plans, and discharge criteria. Administer medications and interventions according to physician orders; support safe, evidence-based post-anesthesia care. Maintain infection control, patient safety, and accurate documentation; participate in unit-based safety and quality initiatives. Contribute to a positive, collaborative care environment and uphold professional nursing practice standards through teamwork and shared governance. Requirements Current, active RN license to practice in Colorado (in good standing) Minimum of 2 years RN PACU experience BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) Flu vaccine required; no exemptions Ability to work 4x10 hour rotating shifts including evenings and weekend call Minimum education: RN with eligibility to practice in Colorado Benefits and Support Housing option available near the work site 13-week contract with potential for extension based on performance and department needs Competitive weekly pay within the stated range Standard professional requirements completed prior to assignment start Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
