Exam Access Team Leader

Job Description and Person Specification Are you experienced in assessing students for exam arrangements and ready to lead a fantastic, highly experienced team? Join a highly supportive and collaborative team where staff work closely together to ensure every student receives the access they need to succeed. Responsibilities Lead a team of Assessors who make students get the right exam access arrangements. Screen and assess students for exam access needs, liaising with schools and parents where necessary. Keep up to date with changes to JCQ regulations and make sure they’re implemented. Manage student referrals and support teaching staff with exam arrangements. Deliver training and share your expertise with staff across the college. Get involved in college life – whether it’s supporting open events, helping with invigilation, or simply being a friendly face around campus. Supervise teams across the Exeter & North Devon Group (role is Exeter based). Qualifications Qualified with a Level 7 Assessor Award (essential). Proactive, organised and methodical. Passionate about supporting students. Experienced at assessing students for exam access arrangements. Excellent communicator with strong IT skills. Thorough and meticulous, with a real eye for detail. £2,000 retention payment (£1,000 payable at the end of year 1 and year 2). Must be employed in this role at Exeter College at the time of payment.
