Director of Sales

Addison Group

Addison Group is partnering with a growing healthcare and insurance organization to identify an experienced Director of Sales to lead a high-performing, multi-channel sales organization. This individual will oversee call center, field, and regional sales teams while driving strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional member experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on sales leader with experience in the health insurance industry who enjoys coaching teams, improving performance, and collaborating across departments. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve organizational goals Lead, coach, and mentor call center, field, and regional sales teams to maximize performance and productivity Monitor sales metrics, KPIs, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends and improve results Partner with Marketing to evaluate campaign performance and optimize lead generation and conversion strategies Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Technical teams to improve processes and enhance the member experience Oversee sales forecasting, business planning, and performance goal tracking Develop and manage incentive programs, sales contests, and employee recognition initiatives Coordinate regional meetings, field events, and sales conferences Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, state insurance requirements, and company policies Foster a positive, customer‑focused culture while driving continuous improvement across the sales organization What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field 3+ years of leadership experience managing telephonic, call center, or inside sales teams 3+ years of experience within the health insurance industry, with Medicare and Medicare Advantage experience highly preferred Ability to obtain and maintain an active Tennessee Health Insurance Producer License within the first month of employment Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Proven ability to analyze sales metrics, improve performance, and drive operational efficiencies Working knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities Systems & Tools Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Sales reporting and forecasting tools Workforce management and KPI reporting systems Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
