Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Travel Assignment

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment at a leading surgery center. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of acute care experience and hold active NBSTA and DORA certifications. This role requires a dynamic individual who is competent in total joints, general orthopedic procedures, and sports medicine. Candidates must be flexible and confident in their skills, with a strong focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical operations by preparing and providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team, including the director, charge nurse, and other OR staff.
• Assist in patient positioning and transport to and from the operating room.
• Float to any surgery center within 25 miles as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care CST experience.
• Active NBSTA and DORA certifications are required.
