Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Fabrication Receiving Coordinator in USA Fontana, Ca.

Report to the Fabrication Manager, the Fabrication Receiving Coordinator, is responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities for our Fabrication Department.

What a typical day looks like:

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Perform inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product do not meet quality standards.
• Maintains inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments, as required.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Make deliveries to customers in box truck, as needed.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Valid California Class C Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
• Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse management procedures.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
• Ability to operate powered equipment including a forklift and scissors lift.

What the physical requirements are:

• Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time.
• Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor

Pay Range (Applicable to California)$18.59 USD - $25.10 USD Hourly
