As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring automotive maintenance or repairs. You will listen to customers' concerns, understand vehicle issues, and coordinate service appointments. Your goal is to ensure exceptional customer service by providing accurate estimates, recommending necessary repairs, and maintaining clear communication throughout the service process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Customer interaction: greet customers and conduct initial inspections of vehicles to understand issues.
• Service coordination: schedule service appointments and ensure efficient use of workshop resources.
• Estimation and quoting: prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts based on technician assessments and service manuals.
• Documentation and administrative tasks: create and maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Technical knowledge and support: stay updated on automotive technology and service trends.
• Customer education: educate customers on maintenance and care requirements to prolong vehicle lifespan.

Required skills and qualifications include:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to work well under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Must be able to pass a background check and clear a drug test

Preferred qualifications include:

• Familiarity with automotive service software and tools.
• Sales experience or ability to upsell services and products.

Working conditions typically include:
